Chicken Alfredo

1/2 cup butter
2 tsp. garlic powder (or fresh garlic)
6 oz. grated Parmesan Cheese
1 8  oz.package cream cheese
2 cups milk
1/8 tsp black pepper

Chicken breasts

Cook and season chicken...cut into bit sized pieces. (Marinate chicken in Kim's marinade and grill... if you want to make this even more tasty! Simplify and boil or bake your chicken)  Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic. Stir with wire whip until smooth. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps. Add parmesan cheese and pepper, whisk again. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency.May be thinned with milk as needed. Add chicken  and toss with pasta.

PECAN PIE

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar plus 3 TBSP
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup light corn syrup ( I used 1/2 cup light corn syrup and 1/2 cup dark corn syrup )
1/3 cup melted salted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 whole eggs beaten
1 heaping cup pecans

Prepare 9 inch pie crust. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Make filling: Mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, corn syrup, butter, vanilla, and eggs  together in a bowl.  Place the pecans in the bottom of the unbaked pie shell. Pour the syrup mixture over the top. Cover the crust lightly with foil or use pie edge cover.

Bake the pie for 40 minutes and then remove the foil from the pie edge. The pie should not be overly jiggly when removed from the oven (though it will jiggle a bit) If it shakes a lot ...tent foil over the top and bake additional 20 minutes or until set.  It can take from 50 to 75 minutes.

Easy Breadsticks

Incredible Easy Breadsticks

1 TBSP Yeast   1/2 cup warm water   Dissolve together and set aside

1 3/4 cup warm water
3  TBSP. sugar
2 tsp. oil
1 tsp. salt
Mix together and add to yeast mixture

Add 4-5 cups flour. The dough will be sticky...You don't want it too stiff.Let dough sit for 20 minutes. Grease cookie sheet (restaurant size) with some of the garlic mixture.

Garlic Mixture

6-8 TBSP. butter
2 tsp. garlic salt
2 tsp. parley, dried

Roll out dough into the cookie sheet and cut into strips with a pizza cutter. Do one cut in the middle longways and then go side to side about two inches apart. Top with remaining butter mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan or mozzarella cheese. Let sit 10 minutes. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown. Re-cut and serve warm.

You can also roll out the dough on a floured board...rectangle shape. Cut in the middle longways and then in two inch strips. Put all the butter mixture in the cookie sheet. Dip the strips in the butter and then twist...placing the bread sticks close to each other. Let stand 10 minutes and then bake.

Combine chicken with almonds, cabbage, onions, sesame seeds, peppers and  uncooked noodles (Do not use the season packet included with the noodles.). Add the Dressing. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
